Abstract

The Swedish National Committee of Geodesy and Geophysics has invited the International Association of Geodesy to hold a Symposium on Terrestrial Electromagnetic Distance Measurements and Atmospheric Effects on Angular Measurements at the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, August 19–2 4 , 1974.

The symposium will center around the propagation problems in E.D.M.; E.D.M. network design; instrumentation, field procedures and standards in E.D.M.; and atmospheric effects on angular measurements (S.S.G. 23). The scientific program will consist mainly of invited papers and discussion groups. Other papers are welcome but opportunities for their presentation may be limited.
