Abstract

The U.S. Department of Commerce is offering American manufacturers and suppliers of geophysical equipment for earth-science study, oceanography, and meteorology an opportunity to develop sales in the German market by displaying their products at a special trade exhibition to be held in Frankfurt, Germany February 11–14 , 1974.

As the German economic upswing accelerates, the prospects for the sale of U.S. equipment are increased. Germany's participation in a growing number of international geophysical programs requires the application of the most advanced methods and equipment. While German researchers have long had a local supply of excellent precision mechanical apparatus, they look to U.S. sources for the more advanced and sophisticated scientific systems and instrumentation.
