The end of the International Hydrological Decade (IHD), which actually comes with the end of 1974, is being marked by three meetings in Paris from August 29 through September 14, 1974. The three meetings are the ninth and last session of the IHD Coordinating Council on August 29–30; the End-of-Decade Conference (ENDEC), which extends from September 2 to 14;; and the Tercentenary of Scientific Hydrology, which takes place September 9–12, during ENDEC. All meetings will be held in Unesco House in Paris.
