Aerosols, global temperatures, and climate linked

By screening out the rays of the sun, aerosols can reduce the global temperature, and by providing nuclei around which water droplets in clouds can condense or freeze, they can cause rain or snow.

Two scientists at the Atmospheric Physics and Chemistry Laboratory of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration in Boulder, Colorado, have drawn together and analyzed data collected by other investigators on aerosol emissions from various sources and the effects of different concentrations on worldwide climate.
