Smog study findings subject of meeting

A workshop-symposium will be held in Santa Barbara, California, on November 12–14, 1974, to report on the Los Angeles Reactive Pollutant Program (LARPP), an aerial and ground-level smog study conducted last fall under the joint auspices of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), California Air Resources Board, and Coordinating Research Council (CRC), a nonprofit research organization.

LARPP is considered significant because it represents the first time that investigators were able to measure chemical reactions in welldefined air parcels.
