Abstract

A call for papers has been issued by the U.S. National Committee of the International Union of Radio Science for its meeting to be held at the University of Colorado, Boulder, October 20 to 23, 1975. Various societies of the International Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers are cooperating in the meeting.

Topics on which papers are especially desired include measurement standards for radio noise, biological effects of electromagnetic fields, wave measurements to sense hidden structures, extraterrestrial techniques for measuring present crustal movements, remote sensing, radio oceanography, radar meteorology, radiometry, turbulence, space telecommunications, millimeter waves and beyond, ionospheric scintillations, ELF propagation, interference to radio astronomy, ranging accuracy for future planetary orbiters, communication via optical fibers, integrated optics, man-made noise, subsurface communications, information theory, and application of telecommunication science to problems of CCIR and CCITT.
