The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) is currently accepting nominations for the AAAS-Newcomb Cleveland Prize.

The award, which previously honored research papers presented at AAAS annual meetings, will henceforth recognize the author of an outstanding paper published from September through August in the Reports section of Science magazine. The first competition year under the new rules starts with the September 3, 1976, issue of Science and ends with the August 26, 1977, issue. The value of the prize has been raised from $2000 to $5000; the winner will also receive a bronze medal.
