Hydrocarbon calibration measurement techniques

  • Anonymous

New standard reference materials (SRM) to better calibrate instruments and techniques to analyze the hydrocarbon content of air are now available in the following concentrations: SRM 1658, methane (0.951 ppm) in air; SRM 1659, methane (9.43 ppm) in air; and SRM 1660, methane (4.10 ppm) and propane (0.976 ppm) in air. The cost is $283/cylinder from the National Bureau of Standards (NBS) Office of Standard Reference Materials, Chemistry Building, Room B311, NBS, Washington, D.C. 20234.
