Data from NASA's Heat Capacity Mapping Mission (HCMM), an Explorer applications satellite used to acquire thermal imagery of the earth's surface, are now available to the public. The data consist of black-and white imagery (prints and transparencies with a scale of 1:4,000,000) and computer compatible tapes of the United States, southern Canada, western Europe, and eastern Australia.
