Researchers, supported jointly by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the National Science Foundation (NSF), have found what looks like a promising new meteorite field in the Antarctic.
The meteorite research and retrieval is carried out by university and government researchers, led by William Cassady of the University of Pittsburgh, including members of the Japanese polar research team and members of a group from NASA's Johnson Space Center, Houston.
