Geologists to teach in Pakistan

Abstract

Two geologists, recipients of Fulbright awards for university teaching and advanced research abroad, will lecture at the University of Peshawar in Pakistan this academic year.

Ernest H. Gilmour, professor and chairman of the Eastern Washington University's geology department, will lecture on invertebrate paleontology, carbonate petrology, biostratigraphy, and field geology. Robert G. Raynolds, professor of earth sciences at Dartmouth College, will lecture on stratigraphy, sedimentary geology and plate tectonics, and remote sensing.
