Abstract

Two agreements to continue studying cloud-seeding's role as a method of increasing rainfall and water supply have been signed by the state of Texas and the Water and Power Resources Service.

The first agreement is between Water and Power and the Texas Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations. The cooperative agreement provides $147,346 to Texas to participate in the Southwest Drought Research Program. The second agreement provides $21,000 to the Blacklands Research Center for research on the effect of increased precipitation on crop development.
