Gravitational field theories combined

Einstein's gravitation theory has been beset with problems for a long time. These problems are related to the extension of the theory to outer space. All measurements to test the theory have been done on or near earth, but a number of convincing theoretical arguments have been made to suggest that the tests do not adequately explain effects in space beyond the solar system. It seems that an additional, supplementary field may be required in certain domains of outer space.
