Here is a list of assignments to committees in the 99th Congress that have direct jurisdiction in geophysics. Assignments to Senate subcommittees had not been made as Eos went to press.
Letters to Senate committees should be addressed to the committee, U.S. Senate, Washington, DC 20510; letters to House committees should be addressed to the committee, U.S. House of Representatives, Washington, DC 20515. Initial contacts with committee and subcommittee staff may be valuable. For additional guidelines on contacting a member of Congress or congressional staff, see “AGU's Guide to Legislative Information and Contacts” (Eos, August 28, 1984, p. 669)
