Streamflow remained below the normal range in parts of most of the northeastern, southeastern, and Gulf Coast states, as well as parts of Nebraska, Missouri, Montana, South Dakota, and southern California during June, according to a month end check on the nation's water resources by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). USGS hydrologists said that streamflows during June decreased into the below-normal range in parts of Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Hawaii, and additional areas of southern California, adding to the generally dry conditions in many parts of t he country.
