Methane increase to be reported

Authors

Abstract

Between 1965 and 1981, atmospheric methane increased at a rate of about 1% per year; extrapolation of this finding to make long-term predictions, however, is a risky proposition, say three researchers from the Oregon Graduate Center in Beaverton. Discussion of these conclusions will launch a session on the chemistry of the global atmosphere, Tuesday, December 10, 1985, at the AGU Fall Meeting in San Francisco, Calif.
