Abstract

The doctoral dissertation of Arthur L. Baehr (U.S. Geological Survey) has been selected for the $2000 Award given by Engineering-Science, a consulting firm in Arcadia, Calif., in collaboration with Association of Environmental Engineering Professors. His dissertation, “Immiscible Contaminant Transport in Soils with Emphasis on Gasoline Hydrocarbons,” was directed by M. Yavuz Corapcioglu (City College of New York) who will share the monetary award with Baehr.
