Global climate on tape

Data on ocean climate from 17 countries is now available on magnetic tape from the National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC) in Washington, D.C. The Global Ocean Climate Data Base covers the period September 1978–March 1980 and includes four types of data: oceanographic hydrocast (bottle) data, conductivity/salinity-temperature-depth data, expendable bathythermograph (XBT) data, and Eulerian current (current meter) data.
