HYDROCOIN Sixth Workshop and Coordinating Meeting



The Sixth HYDROCOIN (Hydrologic Code Intercomparison Study) Workshop and Coordinating Meeting took place in Washington, D.C, May 26–29, 1987. HYDROCOIN is an international cooperative project for studying, developing, and intercomparing groundwater modeling strategies in the context of radioactive waste management. The workshop had 35 attendees from 10 countries and was hosted by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the U.S. Department of Energy. Its focus was the validation of groundwater flow models and the study of uncertainty and sensitivity analysis methods and techniques.
