The American Institute of Physics will send its second Congressional Science Fellow to Capitol Hill in 1989–90. Application deadline is February 15, 1989.
The first AIP Fellow is Arthur Charo, Harvard University, one of 42 1988–89 fellows sponsored by 15 scientific societies, including AGU. The Congressional Science Fellowship program is organized by the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Fellows spend their year in Washington usually working on staffs of members of Congress or of congressional committees.
