The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics has recently released Guide to Reference and Standards Atmospheric Models, an in-depth assessment of atmospheric models, describing the chemical composition and physical properties of the atmosphere. Models range from the Earth's surface to 2500 km and include model description, development rationale, uncertainties, limitations, origins, and computer code availability.
