Several new web pages from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) will allow scientists and nonscientists alike to view graphic displays of weather and space weather data from around the world. Users can select a region of the Earth and a time period to see plots and data sets of everything from severe storms to aurorae.

The National Climate Data Center has made available weather data from 8000 stations around the world, 160 satellite images of hurricanes from the GOES satellites, and technical reports about weather events such as the East Coast blizzard of 1996. The web address is http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov.
