Watershed Hydrology, 2nd Edition

Watershed Hydrology, 2nd edition is based on a fundamental precept: “What occurs in the stream cannot be considered independently of what occurs on the watershed.” This book is definitely of an introductory nature. It does an excellent job in explaining the “why” of watershed hydrology, but it is not the place to look for “how” to apply hydrologic theory for the purpose of watershed management. It is in this aspect that this book departs most radically from the many books about engineering hydrology that are on the market.
