Looking for El Nino's silver lining

California, Florida, and other parts of the world that have been drenched by torrential rainfall from the current El Niño will have to take comfort in the silver lining inside the clouds for a few more months, according to U.S. Commerce Secretary William Daley. Meanwhile, regions that have been parched by El Niño will continue to look for those clouds. El Niño-induced rains and droughts could continue through March, and taper off during the early part of the summer, Daley said at a February 12 news briefing.
