Abstract

The Canadian government announced on November 16 that the Climate Change Action Fund (CCAF) will provide $9.6 million for partial funding of 59 innovative science, technology and public education projects.

Newly funded science project topics include sulphate aerosol forcing in global climate models, climate change and geomorphological hazards in the Canadian cordillera, and climate change impacts on northern river ecosystems and adaptation strategies via the hydroelectric industry.
