Abstract

“I was in my house and going to a meeting when the earthquake struck,” said Francisco Flores, about the magnitude 7.6 tremor that shook El Salvador on January 13.

“At first, I was looking for my wife, and the windows started shaking, started making noise. All of a sudden, it became stronger and stronger, and all the windows started popping and breaking. We started running. My wife went to try and find my daughter, and I went to try and find my son.
