Summary

This paper reviews the work of the Atmospheric Aerosol Research group at Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory on soot-catalyzed atmospheric reactions. Data are presented on the soot concentrations in various geographic regions of the United States. The experimental results for SO2 oxidation on both dry and wet soot particles are reviewed.
