An impedance boundary condition approach to radiation by uniformly coated antennas

It is shown that the impedance boundary condition may be used to model radiation by uniformly coated antennas. Radiation by slot antennas on uniformly coated conducting bodies is studied. It is shown how to choose a surface impedance, a pseudoaperture location, and the impressed pseudoaperture fields to best represent the original problem.
