Analytic therapy and Exposure Therapy come out of contending and, at times, contentious traditions in psychotherapy. They can, however, work together to better trauma treatment. Exposure Therapy is enhanced by close attention to individual psychodynamics. Analytic therapy can draw upon the rich narratives of Exposure work to deepen analytic inquiry.
