Abstract

Integrins are transmembrane αβ heterodimeric receptor complexes involved in diverse pathophysiological processes by mediating cell adhesion and migration. Integrin–ligand interaction and postligand binding functions of integrins are regulated by intracellular signaling mechanisms.
