Nasopharyngeal carcinoma is a disease with a remarkable racial and geographical distribution. These include the Southern Chinese,1,2 Eskimos and other Arctic natives,3,4 inhabitants of South-East Asia and also the populations of North Africa and Kuwait.5–8
