Whilst our manuscript was under review, Somers et al. (2000) and Nelson et al. (2000) described ZTL and FKF1, respectively. The ZTL1 gene is identical to the LKP1 gene, and the FKF1 gene is homologous to the LKP1 gene. They found an F-box in the LKP1/ZTL sequence which had not shown up in our BLAST search using the entire LKP1 sequence.
