Abstract: Basaloid follicular hamartoma (BFH) is one of several benign skin tumors that may occur in multiple and solitary forms. While the histologic findings of BFH may be observed in a variety of clinical settings, familial multiple BFH represents a distinct clinical entity characterized by tiny flesh-colored papules scattered predominantly over the face. We present two sisters with this rare condition and review the clinical and histologic differential diagnosis of familial multiple BFH.
