Abstract

In Chapter 14.1, the concept of lattice complexes is introduced and compared with the well known concept of crystal forms. A ‘lattice complex’ is defined as a set of point configurations that may be generated within one type of Wyckoff set. The definition is illustrated by detailed examples.

Keywords:

  • lattice complexes;
  • point configurations;
  • Wyckoff positions;
  • Wyckoff sets
