Abstract

Although based on research in mathematics classrooms, Mundher Adhami's article on responsive questioning will be of interest to teachers in all curriculum areas. His concern is to explore strategies to develop the skill of tactical, responsive questioning which, he suggests, is one of the essential qualities of good teachers.
