Cities and Climate Change Challenges: Institutions, Policy Style and Adaptation Capacity in Bogotá

  • My gratitude goes to Liliana Rubiano for her extremely valuable help as a research assistant and her compilation of background data and maps relating to climate change scenarios for Colombia and Bogotá.

While a growing awareness of climate change has marked the institutional agenda at the national level in Colombia, the capital city of Bogotá has not undertaken actions to include adaptation to climate change within its policies so far.
