Associate dean for research and graduate studies in the college of Design Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP) at the University of Cincinnati. He is also a professor in the school of design with an appointment in industrial design. He is a fellow, past president, and chair of the board of the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA). He is also co-author, with Jonathan Cagan, of Creating Breakthrough Products (second edition released in September 2012).
Seasoned business strategist with a 25-year track record of success in leadership positions at Procter & Gamble, Ogilvy & Mather, and TAXI Advertising & Design. In 2005, she and Roger Martin founded Rotman DesignWorks at the University of Toronto, and Fraser served as DesignWorks executive director through 2012. In 2013, she spun off an independent new venture, Vuka Innovation, dedicated to helping organizations build their capacity to innovate through design-inspired principles and practices. While leading Vuka, Fraser continues to be active in public education as adjunct professor, researcher, and business design expert in residence at the Rotman School of Management.
