Retraction. Journal of Common Market Studies Volume 43, Issue 2

It has been drawn to the editors' attention that 'EU Integration, Europeanization and Administrative Convergence: The Greek Case' by Konstantinos J. Papadoulis, published in JCMS Vol. 43, No. 2, pp. 349-70, bears a strong similarity to 'European Integration in Administrative Terms: A Framework for Analysis and the Greek Case' by Calliope Spanou, published in the Journal of European Public Policy (JEPP), Vol. 5, No. 3, pp. 467-84. The JEPP article is not acknowledged among the references, although the editors count many passages in the JCMS article that are identical to the JEPP article, or nearly so. It is the editors' judgement that the similarities are so strong that the article is retracted in the interests of academic standards. The editors offer their unreserved apologies to Calliope Spanou and to the editors of the Journal of European Public Policy.
