    1. Dawson Munjeri, currently Deputy Permanent Delegate of Zimbabwe to UNESCO was until 2002, the Executive Director of National Museums and Monuments of Zimbabwe. He was previously the Oral Historian of the National Archives of Zimbabwe, a position he held following degree programmes at the University of Zimbabwe and the University of Wales. He has served on the UNESCO World Heritage Committee and on the Executive Committee and Bureau of the International Council of Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS). As well as being a member of the group of experts that drafted the UNESCO Convention for the safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage, he has served as a member of expert groups concerned with the implementation of the Convention for the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage.
