Abstract

A sample of ward-based assessors from the Gwynedd School of Nursing demonstrated unfavourable attitudes to the current system of practical examinations as measured by a scale produced by the author. He suggests that this information could be a desirable adjunct to the unhindered introduction of continuing clinical assessment.
