The paper ‘Source subtraction for the extended Very Small Array and 33-GHz source count estimates’ was published in Mon. Not. R. Astron. Soc. 360, 340–353 (2005).

Table A1 of Cleary et al. (2005) was described as listing the 33-GHz sources used for the source-count estimation. However, an error was made in generating the text of Table A1. This erratum gives the correct source list used for the counts. This error does not affect any of the results of the paper, as the correct source list was used to estimate the counts.

Of the 102 sources which were used to estimate the counts, 45 came from the VSA123 fields with 20 mJy ≤S < 46 mJy and 57 came from the VSA5678 fields with 20 mJy ≤S < 114 mJy. However, Table A1 of Cleary et al. (2005) omits (in error) nine sources from VSA123 with 35.9 mJy ≤S < 46 mJy and includes (in error) three sources from VSA5678 with S > 114 mJy. Also, for some sources the quoted uncertainty was a factor of inline image too large.

Table 1 below lists the 102 sources used to estimate the 33-GHz source counts in Cleary et al. (2005). The normalizing area for the source counts is 0.044 sr except for those sources brighter than 46 mJy, for which it is 0.024 sr. For each source, the measured flux density, S, and 1σ uncertainty, ΔS, in mJy are presented. In addition to the quoted error, there is a calibration uncertainty of ≈4 per cent in flux density.
