The paper ‘Stellar population and dust extinction in an ultraluminous infrared galaxy at z= 1.135’ was published in Mon. Not. R. Astron. Soc. 402, 335–344 (2010).

The value of the [O ii]λ3727 line flux is incorrect. The correct value is 1.9 ± 0.3 × 10−17 erg cm−2 s−1. The star formation rate inferred from the [O ii] luminosity is changed accordingly. None the less, the results and discussion presented in the published paper remain unchanged.
