Genes exhibit profiles comparable with those found in the microarrays, belonging to several clusters. DHN, dehydrin (cluster III); SNF4b and AKINγ, regulatory subunits of the sucrose non-fermenting related kinase complex (cluster IV and II); SUS2, sucrose synthase 2 (cluster IV), SUS1, sucrose synthase 1 (cluster II); ADH1, alcohol dehydrogenase (cluster II), 18S, constitutively expressed rRNA. Microarray data are expressed as the means of the expression ratio PEG treatment/timepoint zero of the two time courses (±SE).
