Mark J. McDonnell is the Director of the Australian Research Centre for Urban Ecology of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Melbourne (South Yarra, Vic. 3141, Australia; Email: email@example.com) and is an Associate Professor in the School of Botany at the University of Melbourne. Mark has been involved in both the research and management aspects of preserving biodiversity in urban and suburban environments for over 20 years and serves on the board of Ecological Management & Restoration.
