    1. is Professor and Director of the Institute of International Relations at The University of the West Indies, St Augustine, Trinidad & Tobago. He has been associated with many other institutions, including Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, the University of London, Makerere University Business School in Uganda and Stellenbosch University in South Africa, as well as holding visiting posts in Denmark, Japan, Nigeria, Zambia and Zimbabwe. He is author of Commonwealth: Inter- & Non-state Contributions to Global Governance (Routledge, 2008) and editor of book series on International Political Economy for Ashgate and Palgrave Macmillan.
