Brumptia bicaudata is redescribed and redefined, with particular reference to the genital organs, hermaphroditic pouch and genital papilla. A ciliated valve which separates the vesicula seminalis and ejaculatory duct is described; the ejaculatory duct is lined with ciliated epithelium. The subfamily Brumptinae is redefined.
