This article corrects:

Since its publication, the authors of Teng et al. (2006) have brought to our attention that an error appears in Table 1, where the values for cell wall thickness under ambient and elevated CO2 were reported incorrectly.

    The chloroplast length is the longest dimension of the chloroplast, and the chloroplast width is its widest dimension.
