Summary
Cryosurgery is an easy, safe and highly acceptable means of treating chronic cervicitis and erosions.
One hundred and thirty-two patients were reassessed after cryosurgery had been performed in the out-patients department without anaesthesia or analgesia: treatment was successful in 125 instances (95 per cent).
