Details are given of the 7 cases of failure of protection in the subsequent pregnancy; the infants were all mildly affected. Three cases are described, also mildly affected, of subsequent pregnancies after anti-D gamma globulin was given although the mothers had a positive enzyume test for rhesus antibodies prior to the injection. There was little correlation between the incidence of failures, the pre-injection. There was little correlation between the incidence of failures, the pre-injection Kleihauer count and the dose of anti-D gamma globulin given.
