Summary
In a group of 48 patients with the urge incontinence syndrome, 43 were cured of symptoms using a technique of bladder re-education. This consisted of supportive psychotherapy, initial drug therapy and bladder re-training. Thirty-seven of these patients also showed cystometric evidence of improvement in detrusor control.
